Cat sitting job exceeds its duties

A cat sitting job becomes a criminal ordeal in Darren Aronofsky’s Caught Stealing. It confirms that pop in twice a day is never a complete statement of work.

Austin Butler plays Hank, a bartender dragged into a 1998 New York plot. The film supplies twists, betrayals and murder with the regularity of a hostile feeding schedule.

“Our rate covers biscuits and litter,” said Felicity Whisker Invoice. “Gunfire is charged hourly.”

The cat understands events. It reviews criminals, withholds information and knocks a motive off the counter.

The handover note gains a body count

The crime caper draws on late 1990s genre energy. Every ten minutes brings a threat, betrayal or shirt that cannot survive the third act.

Aronofsky returns to the Lower East Side, where his feature career began with Pi. This time the mathematics calculates how many gangsters fit behind one innocent favour.

By the final twist, the owner asks whether everything went okay. Hank types yes while standing inside several active investigations. The cat gives the service four stars, deducting one for late breakfast.
